Laser Bug sailing dinghy

Fantastic and versatile dinghy can be sailed, raced, rowed and even motored with a suitable small outboard.

The boat was designed to be a modern alternative to an Optimist, RS Tera, or Topper Taz. Giving a more stable and improved sailing experience using the latest materials. Part of the design brief was for the boat to be multi functional and be big enough to cope with a parent and child sailing together. These boats are also commonly used as tenders due to their space and versatility.

It can be roller reefed on windy days which is ideal for learning.

This Bug is ready to sail and will be a great dinghy to get your family out on the water. The boat is very light and is designed to fit on your car roof rack. So it really is a case of lifting it off the roof, loading the foils, sail and rig (2 part mast and boom will/should fit inside your car) into the boat, and lifting it to the waters edge. Rigging takes 5 minutes tops, and then you're sailing.
- Ideal for holiday fun sailing. An outboard mount and rowing kit were available from Laser at reasonable cost I understand.

Our dinghy is in tidy condition and has all the expected marks, scratches, scuffs and scrapes from enthusiastic use. The sail is completely serviceable although showing signs of use and gives the dinghy excellent performance, the foils are the modern alloy type with very little wear on the plastic replaceable caps.
